By Communication C2015 087-02 of March 13, 2015, the new list, of harmonized standards to Toy Safety Directive (Dir. 2009/48/EC), was published on the website of the Official Journal of the European Union.
The changes from the previous list are:

  • EN 71-1: 2014 (Safety of toys ‹ Part 1: Mechanical and physical properties)
  • EN 71-3: 2013 + A1: 2014 (Safety of toys ‹ Part 3: Migration of certain elements)
  • EN 71-14: 2014 (Safety of toys – Part 14: Trampolines for domestic use)

In particular, the standards EN 71-1: 2014 and EN 71-3: 2013 + A1: 2014 replace their earlier harmonized version EN 71-1: 2011 + A3: 2014 and EN 71-3: 2013. In both cases, The new (or amended) standard has the same scope as the superseded standard. On the date stated, the superseded standard ceases to give presumption of conformity with the requirements of Directive 2009/48 / EC on the February 29, 2016.
The EN 71-14: 2014, instead, is published for the first time and is an absolute new entry of the series of standards EN-71.
